The Royal Academy of the Arts receives renovation by David Chipperfield

At DNL Build, we work with London Architects on all of our projects so this article from Design Boom about Sir David Chipperfield renovating the Royal Academy of the Arts for its 250th birthday really caught our eye.

On 19th May, the new RA will open following extensive redevelopment work by Sir David Chipperfield. It is hoped that the new building will allow visitors to get to know the institution more, and learn about what makes the grade II listed building so unique. The project has also involved design and construction of new features which all visitors are encouraged to experience.

Head to the original article here to check out the fantastic images of the galleries post re-development, and to hear from Sir David himself about the project. To check out some of our own renovation work, head to our projects page.
